The Sims 4 Global Entrance

The Sims 4 is the addition to the long standing franchise of real life simulation. This is EA's follow-up to 2009's the Sims 3 game in PC and Mac. I don't usually do reviews to video games but this right here is an exception because most of you guys know for a fact that I have been big Sims fan ever since the game started back when internet and facebook was not yet a global necessity. Since I have heard the news of its release way back last year, I already did some research and I anticipated for features that I really would love to be present in the game. Fortunately, I guess those expectations will be on the this new title and that is why right now I am personally giving my thoughts on the game from a gamer and a fan’s standpoint. I have been playing the game for quite a few hours and so far the experience has been outstanding. Just like the others previous Sims game, the Sims 4 starts by taking you to a town map where you will have the liberty of choosing the place you want to build and start your Sim. Basin on the initial encounter, I can tell that there is so much improvement in the game. The experience seems very fluid and seamless and I can easily manipulate things to my liking. If I am going to compare it with the Sims 3, then I will be this game 8 against 2. That is how I perceived the game as I preliminary played it. Now, creating a Sim has never been this easy. Not only that, I was stunned by the fact that I can already make an almost exact copy of oneself in the game --- it can be yourself, a celebrity, a friend, or just anyone that catches your imagination. Then I suddenly realized that this game has taken realism into a much higher level where players tend to emulate themselves in the game as if it was in a real world put into a video game. Despite the new features that this title has brought into the franchise, the mechanics of the game will still be quite similar, if not perfectly the same. You still have to make your Sim level up to progress in the game and you do that by doing things that earns you points and money. The points you earn contributes to the leveling process while earning money is like earning money in the real world where it gives you the purchasing power, that is you can buy and have things that you need and want. Of course the overall gameplay still is asking the gamer to make his Sim happy. But with the addition of a more sophisticated “emotion” features comes a new brand of style of the game that I am sure most of you guys will love.
